Welcome to St. Anthony's Church.

The people of St. Anthony's Parish and St. Faustina Kowalska Polish Mission, part of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Halifax, are called to be "The People of God". Our faith in God's unconditional love for us, as evidenced in the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ, and, as testified to by his church, gives us a firm hope in our salvation and the salvation of the world. We respond to God's love with adoration, thanksgiving, and petition through worship and prayer, and charity to our neighbour

We invite you to discover the richness of our parish. Newcomers and visitors are always welcome.

Classic Country Time Show: The next show is Sunday, January 17th at 7:00pm. Admission is $7. This will be the first night of our talent contest and the audience gets to vote for the person who will move on to the finals. Come out and enjoy the show!

Parish Council: The next meeting will be Tuesday, January 19th at 6:30pm.

2016 Church Envelopes: Are now available for you to pick up, near the main entrance. Anyone who is not registered with the parish and would like a box of 2016 envelopes, please see Br. Nathanael or drop your name, phone number and address in the collection basket and we will ensure you receive a box.

Annual Draw: Please see Gordon Jewers (469.5698) if you can help out with the draw by purchasing or selling tickets. Gordon will be at the main of entrance of the church after Mass.

St. Vincent de Paul: Item of the month for January is peanut butter.

Recyclables: Please drop off your recyclables – before or after Mass. You can also drop them at Rupert Lewis’ house at anytime - 10 Lahey Road – 902. 466.6788.

Confessions in the Year of Mercy: Every Monday, Wednesday and Friday, Franciscans of Halifax Priests will be available to hear Confessions at St. Catherine’s Church, 6476 Bayers Rd. Halifax. Everyone is welcome to celebrate this Sacrament between 5:00pm- 8:00pm each Monday, Wednesday and Friday.

Br. Paul’s Ordination to Priesthood: Please mark your calendar for Saturday, February 6th at 10:30am. Archbishop Anthony Mancini will ordain Br. Paul MacIntosh, FoH to the Priesthood at St. Mary’s Cathedral Basilica, Halifax. Everyone is welcome to attend. Please keep Br. Pauls in your prayers.

Friends of L’Arche Halifax: Monthly gathering will be held this Sunday, January 10th from 1:30pm-3:30pm in St. Agnes Hall, Mumford Road, Halifax. All are welcome, especially those with intellectual disabilities, their families and friends - to come for prayer, song, fun, and fellowship.
