Welcome to St. Anthony's Church.

The people of St. Anthony's Parish and St. Faustina Kowalska Polish Mission, part of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Halifax, are called to be "The People of God". Our faith in God's unconditional love for us, as evidenced in the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ, and, as testified to by his church, gives us a firm hope in our salvation and the salvation of the world. We respond to God's love with adoration, thanksgiving, and petition through worship and prayer, and charity to our neighbour

We invite you to discover the richness of our parish. Newcomers and visitors are always welcome.

Backpack Project: This year marks the 12th consecutive Advent for our Backpack Project. These backpacks are given as Christmas presents to the patrons of Feeding Others of Dartmouth, our downtown Dartmouth soup kitchen. There are bags on the tables near the entrance of the church containing lists of suggested items. Please take a bag home, fill it with items, and deliver the bag back to the church before Thursday, December 15th. Thank you for your support!

Catechism: Please mark your calendar for the Catechism class dates ~ Dec 3rd & 17th.

Jams: We are selling strawberry and strawberry/ rhubarb jam after Masses on the weekend at the main entrance of the church. Jars are $5 each.

Annual Lottery: We continue to sell tickets for our Annual Lottery. If you would like to purchase any, or help sell a book of tickets, please see Gordon after Mass.

2017 St. Joseph’s Missals: Are available in the Sacristy for $5 each.

St. Vincent de Paul: Item of the month is pasta sauce.

PharmaChoice Perks: We are collecting Perks points for our Outreach Program. If you have any that you do not need, please drop them in the collection basket.

Polish Events: St. Nicholas will be visiting the children after the Mass in Polish on December 4th. There will also be a lunch of cabbage rolls / hunter stew for $7 per person. On December 18th after the Mass there will be sharing of the bread.

DVD Series: This Tuesday, November 29th ~ 6:30pm-8:00pm, featuring Michelangelo – The Artist. The master of sculpture and painting is not a saint but serves as the privileged representative of the creative potential engendered by the Catholic Faith. The Church professes that beauty is a route of access to God, and through humanity’s creative artistry we glimpse the power and glory of the Lord.
