Welcome to St. Anthony's Church.

The people of St. Anthony's Parish and St. Faustina Kowalska Polish Mission, part of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Halifax, are called to be "The People of God". Our faith in God's unconditional love for us, as evidenced in the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ, and, as testified to by his church, gives us a firm hope in our salvation and the salvation of the world. We respond to God's love with adoration, thanksgiving, and petition through worship and prayer, and charity to our neighbour

We invite you to discover the richness of our parish. Newcomers and visitors are always welcome.

Feast of Corpus Christi: This Sunday, May 29th, we will celebrate the Feast of Corpus Christi with Mass starting at 1:00pm and procession following at 1:30pm. Fr. Irek Bem will be the main celebrant.

Mission Collection: On the weekend of June 4th&5th, 2016 the faithful of the diocese are invited to contribute to the Archdiocesan collection specifically for our Mission efforts. This same information is available at our parish. Please find the envelopes on the tables near the entrances.

Feast of St. Anthony: Mass will be at 7:00pm on Monday, June 13th; veneration of first class relic of St. Anthony and blessing of St. Anthony’s Bread. We will have a collection with all proceeds to our Outreach Program for those less fortunate.

Classic Country Show: The next show is Sunday, June 19th at 7:00pm.

Pastoral Council: The next meeting is Tuesday, June 21st at 6:30pm.

St. Vincent de Paul: Item of the month for June is pasta.

Step up with Chalice ~ To fight poverty in your neighborhood: Held at the Emera Oval on the North Halifax Common this Sunday, May 29th. Proceeds support the local St. Vincent de Paul councils and the Sisters of Saint Martha Street Ministry. Donation forms are available at the back of the parish.

Flea Market: After Mass Saturday from 5:00pm-7:00pm Sunday, May 29th from 9:00am-12:30pm And after the Corpus Christi procession until 3:30pm Corn or Fish Chowder will be served after the 4:00pm Mass on Saturday and includes a roll, coffee/tea and a piece of pie. $8 per person. Proceeds go towards the Hall Roof Repair Fund
