Welcome to St. Anthony's Church.

The people of St. Anthony's Parish and St. Faustina Kowalska Polish Mission, part of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Halifax, are called to be "The People of God". Our faith in God's unconditional love for us, as evidenced in the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ, and, as testified to by his church, gives us a firm hope in our salvation and the salvation of the world. We respond to God's love with adoration, thanksgiving, and petition through worship and prayer, and charity to our neighbour

We invite you to discover the richness of our parish. Newcomers and visitors are always welcome.

Pastoral Council: The next meeting is Tuesday, January 24th at 6:30pm.

St. Anthony’s Spiritual Library: Remember our spiritual library is yours to use and will help increase our devotion to the Lord. It is open after weekend Masses in the boardroom. You can now sign out a book or DVD after each Mass on the weekends.

Recyclables: Please drop off your recyclables – before or after Mass. You can also drop them at Rupert Lewis’ house at anytime - 10 Lahey Road, or call him at 902. 466.6788.

St. Vincent de Paul: Item of the month is peanut butter.

2017 Church Envelopes: If you haven’t already picked up your box of 2017 envelopes, you can find them in the Sacristy. If you do not currently have envelopes and would like a box, please drop the following information in the collection basket ~ name, address and phone number; or see Br. Nathanael.

DVD Series: Will start up again this Tuesday, January 10th at 6:30pm featuring St. Catherine of Siena ~ the Mystic. Is the physical world all there is? Is science the only path to ascertaining truth? St. Catherine of Siena witnesses to a higher world beyond the material. Though the fourteenth century mystic never studied theology, and never learned how to read or write, her life constitutes a powerful challenge to the flattened-out secularism of our time.
