Welcome to St. Anthony's Church.

The people of St. Anthony's Parish and St. Faustina Kowalska Polish Mission, part of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Halifax, are called to be "The People of God". Our faith in God's unconditional love for us, as evidenced in the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ, and, as testified to by his church, gives us a firm hope in our salvation and the salvation of the world. We respond to God's love with adoration, thanksgiving, and petition through worship and prayer, and charity to our neighbour

We invite you to discover the richness of our parish. Newcomers and visitors are always welcome.

Bulletin: 2nd Sunday of Advent

Franciscan Choir Advent Service: The Franciscan choir will be hosting Eucharistic Adoration with sung evening prayer, as well as music and silent reflection. The dates are Tuesdays, December 12th and 19th at 7:00pm at St. Catherine of Siena Parish.

St. Faustina’s Polish Mission: On Sunday, December 10th after the Mass in Polish, there will be a luncheon for $8 per person (not including dessert, coffee/tea). Hunter’s stew and kasza with meat will served and St. Nicholas will make and appearance! Also, on Sunday, December 17th after the Mass in Polish, there will be the celebration of the Christmas Eve Oplatik tradition and their fish dishes.

Advent Reconciliation Service: St. Thomas More this Thursday, December 14th at 7:00pm.

Advent Mission: Fr. Paul will be giving the final spiritual reflection on A Christmas Carol by Charles Dickens this Friday, December 15th at St. Catherine’s Church, Halifax at 7:00pm.

Back-Pack Project: If you haven’t dropped off your bag, see Jennie Martell or Br. Nathanael for drop off before Saturday, December 16th.

Country Classic Show: Next Sunday, December 17th at 7:00pm. Admission is $7. This month, we will have Sidewinder (Plus) featuring: Bob McDonald, Andrew Kent, Carl James, Bill Guest, and Hayden Stover. Special guests will be Monday Mavens, Br. Nathanael and Sr. Edith, with Christmas Carol sing-along, and an appearance by Santa! Your host is Bev Cheverie. See you then!

2018 St. Joseph’s Missals: Available in the Sacristy for $5 each.

St. Paul’s Parish: Come explore ‘The Purpose of Christmas’ as presented in a short video series. There will be discussion and fellowship. Sessions will be December 11th & 13th at 7:00pm in St. Paul’s Rectory.
