Welcome to St. Anthony's Church.

The people of St. Anthony's Parish and St. Faustina Kowalska Polish Mission, part of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Halifax, are called to be "The People of God". Our faith in God's unconditional love for us, as evidenced in the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ, and, as testified to by his church, gives us a firm hope in our salvation and the salvation of the world. We respond to God's love with adoration, thanksgiving, and petition through worship and prayer, and charity to our neighbour

We invite you to discover the richness of our parish. Newcomers and visitors are always welcome.

Rosary Group: This Sunday, April 2nd, please switch to the next Mystery.

Consecration to Mary: We’ll start a journey in preparation for Marian Consecration and follow Fr. Michael Gaitley’s book 33 Days to Morning Glory. A do-it-yourself retreat that takes 33 days and follows the teachings on consecrating our lives to Mary ~ from Saints Louis de Montfort, Maximilian Kolbe, Mother Teresa, and John Paul II. Finishing our journey, we will consecrate our lives to Mary and give as much permission to our Blessed Mother to form us into the image of Christ. If you are interested, please let Br. Nathanael know this weekend, so we may order the proper amount of material (there will be a small fee for the books).

Franciscans of Halifax: You are invited to join the Franciscans of Halifax for a night of silent prayer and music in preparation for Holy Week this Friday, April 7th at 7:00pm at Saint Catherine of Siena Parish. Among the sacred works to be presented are Tomas Luis Victoria’s setting of the Reproaches, a Scriptural text often heard during the liturgy of Good Friday, as well as Gregorian chant and Franz Liszt’s Ave Verum. All are welcome, and we hope to see you there.

Flea Market: Our Spring Flea Market will be Saturday, April 29th and Sunday, April 30th. Please consider donating to our fundraiser when you are cleaning your home or garage. If you would like to help out with the flea market or donate items, contact Gordon Jewers (902.469.5698).

Classic Country Show: There will be no Classic Country Show in the month of April.
