Feast of St. Francis (Franciscans of Halifax) : We invite you to join us on October 4th at 7:00pm for the Feast of Saint Francis which will be held at Saint Catherine of Siena Parish on Bayers Road in Halifax. This year Sr Elizabeth will profess her perpetual vows during this mass. We invite everyone to come and celebrate our patron saint as well as the commitment of our sister.
Pickles & Jam Fundraiser: If you are able to donate monetarily to help with purchasing ingredients, please use the envelopes that were provided last week. Mark your full name and your Envelope # to receive credit for your income tax receipts in February.
Public Square Rosary Crusade ~ Our Lady of Fatima: Come and join in our Rosary Rally in celebration of the 100th Anniversary of the Fatima Centennial (1917-2017) on Saturday, October 14th at 12:00pm ~ Keating Place parking lot, 190 Victoria Road. There will be a reception in St. Anthony’s Parish Hall afterward. This rosary rally is coordinated nationally by Canadian Society for the Defence of Christian Civilization and its Canada Needs Our Lady campaign.
St. Anthony’s & St. Faustina’s Prayer Intention Book: There is a book in the church (location will be announced after Mass) for anyone who has special intentions so we may offer them all collectively during our Prayers of the Faithful.
Country Classic Show: The next show will be Sunday, October 15th at 7:00pm. Thank you to everyone who came to the last show. Proceeds were $662.55 from a great night of entertainment.
Catechism: It is important to encourage each other in faith. If you have children or grand-children , please consider enrolling them in our Catechism program. To register, please speak to Br. Nathanael.
Fall Flea Market: We have been collect items for our upcoming Flea Market on October 28th & 29th. If you have new or used items, please see Gordon Jewers after Mass to arrange a drop off time. Thank you for your contributions.
