Welcome to St. Anthony's Church.

The people of St. Anthony's Parish and St. Faustina Kowalska Polish Mission, part of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Halifax, are called to be "The People of God". Our faith in God's unconditional love for us, as evidenced in the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ, and, as testified to by his church, gives us a firm hope in our salvation and the salvation of the world. We respond to God's love with adoration, thanksgiving, and petition through worship and prayer, and charity to our neighbour

We invite you to discover the richness of our parish. Newcomers and visitors are always welcome.

Polish Christmas Luncheon: Next Sunday, December 9th at 2:00pm in the parish hall. St. Nicholas will be making a special stop to visit the children. The lunch will be $10 per person which includes hunter’s stew with coffee or tea and dessert.

Advent Mission: Fr. Paul continues to revisit the spiritual reflection on A Christmas Carol by Charles Dickens. Fridays, December 7th & 14th and ending Friday, December 21st with a movie night. These will be held at St. Catherine’s Church, Halifax at 7:00pm.

Feast of Immaculate Conception: Next Saturday, December 8th, Mass will be at 9:30am at Immaculate Conception Parish, 339 Pleasant Street. Following Mass, there will be a meeting on the Restructuring of our 4 Parishes. We ask you to pray and discern if you may feel called to work on the transition team that helps move our new parish proposal toward our goal of Evangelization and Discipleship. Please see the back of the bulletin for details.

Keep Christ in Christmas: Please join us next Sunday, December 9th at 2:00pm. We will start the procession at Bethel Baptist Church and end at St. Paul’s Church. There will be a reception to follow in St. Paul’s Church hall.

Backpack Project: Just a reminder to deliver the bags back to us by next weekend, December 8th & 9th. Thank you for your donations!

DVD Series: This Tuesday, December 4th, the topic is The Real Presence Creates Communion - Bishop Robert Barron’s The Mass ~ held at 6:30pm in the parish hall. This will be our last session. Everyone is welcome!

Country Classic Show: The next show will be Sunday, December 16th at 7:00pm.

2019 Catholic Inspirational Calendars and Sunday Missals: Are available in the Sacristy for $5.
