Welcome to St. Anthony's Church.

The people of St. Anthony's Parish and St. Faustina Kowalska Polish Mission, part of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Halifax, are called to be "The People of God". Our faith in God's unconditional love for us, as evidenced in the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ, and, as testified to by his church, gives us a firm hope in our salvation and the salvation of the world. We respond to God's love with adoration, thanksgiving, and petition through worship and prayer, and charity to our neighbour

We invite you to discover the richness of our parish. Newcomers and visitors are always welcome.

Polish Christmas Luncheon: This Sunday, December 9th at 2:00pm in the parish hall. St. Nicholas will be making a special stop to visit the children. The lunch will be $10 per person which includes hunter’s stew with coffee or tea and dessert.

2019 Envelopes: Please pick up your box of envelopes which are on the table by the main entrance. If you do not have envelopes, but would like some, please let Br. Nathanael know.

Keep Christ in Christmas: Please join us this Sunday, December 9th at 2:00pm. We will start the procession at Bethel Baptist Church and end at St. Paul’s Church. There will be a reception to follow in St. Paul’s Church hall.

Backpack Project: Just a reminder to deliver the bags back to us by this weekend, December 8th & 9th. Thank you for your donations!

Christmas Country Classic Show: Next Sunday, December 16th at 7:00pm. Featuring Sidewinder (Plus) and special guests are Lucas Whitehead, Bob Gerard, Mort Lohnes, Bob Harrison and Tammy Adams. Bring your friends and enjoy the show!

Advent Mission: Fr. Paul continues to revisit the spiritual reflection on ‘A Christmas Carol’ by Charles Dickens, next Friday December 14th & and ending December 21st with a movie night. Held at St. Catherine’s Church, Halifax at 7:00pm.

Holy Hours: The Franciscan Choir, under the direction of Sr. Ilaria, will host Holy Hours on the Tuesdays of Advent - December 11th, and 18th - at 7:00 pm in the Church. The Holy Hour will include some times of silence and times of music led by the Franciscan Choir. All are welcome.

2019 Catholic Inspirational Calendars and Sunday Missals: Are available in the Sacristy for $5.
