Welcome to St. Anthony's Church.

The people of St. Anthony's Parish and St. Faustina Kowalska Polish Mission, part of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Halifax, are called to be "The People of God". Our faith in God's unconditional love for us, as evidenced in the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ, and, as testified to by his church, gives us a firm hope in our salvation and the salvation of the world. We respond to God's love with adoration, thanksgiving, and petition through worship and prayer, and charity to our neighbour

Pastoral Council Meeting: This Tuesday, February 20th at 6:30pm.

Way of the Cross: Thursday evenings starting at 6:30pm, we will have Way of Cross followed by Adoration until 8:00pm.

Lenten Journey Invitation: A 14 part video series Into the Heart of God: The Gospel of John in the Holy Land beginning Monday, February 12th at 7:00pm at St. Paul’s Church Hall. Everyone is welcome!

Bible Study: You are invited to a weekly Bible Study Series during Lent every Tuesday at 7:00pm starting on February 20th in the Board Room of St. Theresa’s Rectory. This guided study through Exodus will be led by Robert Elford. To register, please email

2018 Church Envelopes: If you haven’t picked up your box of 2018 envelopes, please go to the Sacristy (see Br. Nathanael) where the remainder boxes are kept. If you do not currently have envelopes and would like a box, please drop the following information in the collection basket ~ name, address and phone number; or see Br. Nathanael.

2018 St. Joseph’s Missals: Available in the Sacristy for $5 each.

St. Vincent de Paul: Item of the month for February is peanut butter and jam.

Country Classic Show: This Sunday, February 18th, 2018 at 7:00pm. Admission is $7 per person. Special guests along with Sidewinder (Plus), include Barb Hiltz, Tammy Adams, Jim Tynes and Vic Ivany. 50/50 Draw, Door Prizes & Canteen items available.

Lenten Holy Hour Series: The Franciscan choir will be hosting a series of Holy Hours every Tuesday during Lent beginning February 20th. This will include an hour of prayer before the Blessed Sacrament, sung vespers and other sacred songs. To be held at Saint Catherine of Siena Parish from 7:00-8:00pm.
