St. Anthony of Padua Roman Catholic Church & St. Faustina Kowalska Polish Mission

Welcome to St. Anthony's Church.

The people of St. Anthony's Parish and St. Faustina Kowalska Polish Mission, part of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Halifax, are called to be "The People of God". Our faith in God's unconditional love for us, as evidenced in the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ, and, as testified to by his church, gives us a firm hope in our salvation and the salvation of the world. We respond to God's love with adoration, thanksgiving, and petition through worship and prayer, and charity to our neighbour

We invite you to discover the richness of our parish. Newcomers and visitors are always welcome.

Transition Team Meeting: will be this Wednesday, February 20th, at St. Paul’s. If you would like to join us for the Rosary before the meeting, we will start at 6:30pm.

2018 Income Tax Receipts: Please pick up your income tax receipts for 2018 on the table near the main entrance of the church.

2019 Envelopes: If you did not pick up your envelopes for 2019, they are in the Sacristy. If you do not have envelopes but would like a box, please advise Br. Nathanael.

Save the Date: Ash Wednesday, March 6th, Mass will be at 7:00pm.

2019 Sunday Missals: Are available in the Sacristy for $5.

St. Vincent de Paul: Item of the month is crackers.

Mark Your Calendar: DVD Series on The Mass ~ by Bishop Robert Barron, will be held during Lent, starting Saturday, March 9th at 3:15pm (before the 4:00pm Mass). I strongly encourage everyone to give time to learn more about the central mystery of our faith. If you have any questions, speak to me, Br. Nathanael.

Recyclables: Please drop off your recyclables before or after Mass. You can also drop them off anytime at Rupert Lewis’ house, 10 Lahey Road, or call him at 902. 466.6788.

Country Classic Show: This Sunday, February 17th at 7:00pm. Featuring Sidewinder (Plus) and special guests are Cathy Ryan, Yvonne McDonald, and featuring Carles James and Bev Cheverie ~ back from the North. We hope you can make it for a great night of entertainment!
