Welcome to St. Anthony's Church.

The people of St. Anthony's Parish and St. Faustina Kowalska Polish Mission, part of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Halifax, are called to be "The People of God". Our faith in God's unconditional love for us, as evidenced in the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ, and, as testified to by his church, gives us a firm hope in our salvation and the salvation of the world. We respond to God's love with adoration, thanksgiving, and petition through worship and prayer, and charity to our neighbour

Spring Flea Market: This Saturday, June 1st after Mass from 5:00pm-6:30pm & Sunday, June 2nd from 10:00am-3:30pm. ea and dessert Saturday (only) from 11:00am-3:00pm and 5:00pm-6:00pm. $8 per person.

Priestly Ordination of Br. Nathanael DesRoches: On Thursday, June 13, 2019, Br. Nathanael DesRoches of the Franciscans of Halifax will be ordained to the priesthood by Archbishop Mancini. The ordination will take place at 7:00pm at Saint Mary’s Cathedral Basilica. Please note the bus transportation list has reached full capacity. Please check the bulletin board for the bus list. John & Darlene LeBlanc will be coming home to attend and are putting on a parish dinner on Saturday, June 15th after Mass to celebrate Br. Nathanael’s Ordination.

Transition Team Update: We have finalized the suggested names for our new parish to the four most popular. We are asking you to prayerfully consider which name will best represent our new parish with the mission of spreading the Gospel that Jesus commanded us. Please write your reflection on the name you choose and send it to the following email: or give it in written form to Linda Young, John Trainer or Br. Nathanael. You have until June 4th for submission. The four suggested names are: Our Lady of Fatima, Our of Lady of Gualdeloupe, Saint Padré Pio, and Saint John Paul II.

Country Classic Show: The last show for the season is June 16th. Admission is $7.

Fundraiser Towards Bus Transportation: Thank you to everyone who helped support our fundraiser. The winner of $100 is Monica Mattsson -Congratulations!

St. Vincent de Paul: Item of the month is pasta and/or sauce.

St. Paul’s Church: Perennial Plant Sale, next Saturday, June 8th from 10:00am-1:00pm. Also, there will be houseplants, garden items, books, etc., and free coffee & tea.
